NOCO Snap-Top BGU1 Battery Box for Lawn and Garden, Generators, Gate Openers and Equipment

The NOCO BGU1 is a Group U1 battery box designed for a wide range of applications, including lawn and garden equipment, generators, gate openers, and more. This battery box features an all-new rugged and snap-lock design, making it more durable and easier to install than ever before. Its simplified mounting system allows for installation without a battery strap, utilizing pre-drilled internal pilot holes or a battery strap mount for more demanding applications.

The BGU1 battery box safely protects batteries from unwanted movement, accidental shorting of terminals, and collects battery acid, while also providing adequate ventilation. It meets the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Code of Federal Regulations 183.420 and American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) E-10.7 specifications.

The package includes the BGU1 Group U1 Battery Box, a 36-Inch Battery Hold-Down Strap, a Battery Mounting Tray, and four (4) #8x1-Inch Self-Tapping Screws.

The All-New SnapTop Battery Box, similar to the HM082BK, has been reimagined to be structurally more rigid, with a perfected snap-top design and simplified installation process. It is designed to be a rugged and heavy-duty solution for Group U1 batteries, including those used in 12-volt lawn and garden equipment, generators, gate openers, and other related equipment.

The simplified installation process makes it easier than ever to install the battery boxes, with the option to utilize the pre-drilled internal pilot holes for direct mounting without a battery strap or the all-new strap mount system for more rugged and demanding installations.

The reinforced design with a honeycomb lattice structure makes the battery box one of the most rugged ever designed, with impact resistance down to -20ºF (-28ºC) and resistance to acid, gas, UV, and oil. The enhanced cable entry ports provide more options for routing your battery cables, with the ability to route them from the front and sides, and optional ventilation holes for improved airflow.
